Candidates will be examined in a 90-minute written session covering:
- Complaint handling

B. Role Play Simulation
The heart of the competition is the practical role-play, designed to reflect a realistic hotel reception scenario:

Finalists will receive the briefing document in advance to familiarize themselves with the fictitious hotel and context.
After the role play, each candidate will be invited for a short **debrief session** with the judging panel to discuss and reflect on their performance.
Judging Panel
The competition will be evaluated by a minimum of five judges, including the previous year’s winner, under the guidance of a Jury President.
The judging process includes:
1. Introduction (max. 5 minutes)
* A brief personal presentation and introduction of their hotel.
* Objective: to relax the candidate and allow natural confidence to emerge.
2. Role Play (max. 15 minutes)
* The main evaluation based on professionalism, communication, service excellence, and problem-solving.
3. Post Role Play Discussion
* A short reflection session with the jury to explain decisions and thought processes.
General Information
Each candidate must:
* Report 10 minutes before their scheduled session.
* Be dressed in their official hotel uniform.
* Conduct the interview and role play in English (a strong command of English is essential).
The results will be announced the same evening, followed by a celebratory reception.
All participants may request individual feedback from the judges after the competition.
After the selection of the finalists, the detailed program and schedule of the day will be outlined and communicated to each participant.
